Small guild, XL guildbosses

Fresh guildies at GoodLuck defeated XL guildbosses at their inaugural weekly event.

Not to break from tradition with HaveFun, GoodLuck guildies promptly held their first guildbosses event on Saturday 8 June 2024 after having collected all the scrolls by Friday and opening their doors to new guildies on Thursday.

Numbering 12 attendees, the fresh guild valiantly sought off Mudster, Ferrid, Puturum, and finally Khan despite not yet having unlocked all the PvE passive guildbuffs or the Command to Gather skill.

Instead, Yidingbai arranged his own “CTG”, saying: “this week’s special. This week only, CTG to Oquilla’s Eye means ‘carrack taxi going to Oquilla’s Eye’.”

The crew felt their handicap most keenly on Oquilla’s Eye, however, with an XL-sized Khan starting without any Black Crystal Cannonballs. Using only regular balls, the first phase took its toll and cannons were ripped apart by the waves. Even Yidingbai’s horsie was extinguished. TheDoomLord said: “sweating muchbai?” He was.

But with Yidingbai on clockwise duty and Grashoppers going khanterclockwise, cannons were eventually loaded with the goods and Khan was sent packing.

Yidingbai adds: “redsplit guildbosses, sure, but it was the first non-sober Khan for a long time.”

Helmutchan noted his delight in being part of the first guildbosses for the guild. GoodLuck looks forward to future non-sober guildbosses and lucky drops for all.
