Joining sailing dailies (sailies)

Joining sailing dailies (sailies)

At a glance

We run sailies in the evening when there is demand. Join to get Carrack upgrade materials and sailing experience points.

A sailies run typically takes 30-40 minutes.

The graphic below shows the requirements, route, and quests that should be taken and completed. Edit: this content has since been updated: the Traveller’s Map section is no longer necessary, all six seamonster quests from Oquilla’s Eye can be accepted at once, and Sihuram’s quest can be accepted at Oquilla’s Eye.

Full sailies route. 3+3 route starts and ends at Oquilla’s Eye and excludes the Port Ratt section.

What are sailies and when do I need them?

Sailies are sailing dailies (daily quests). You need to do these if you want to upgrade your Epheria Galleass/Caravel into a Carrack. Most of these materials come from daily quests.

Sailies are still useful after you get your Carrack because of sailing experience points which are also rewarded.

The most essential quests are the six seamonster quests from Oquilla’s Eye. These especially give the most important ship upgrade materials.

What do I need to join sailies?

You need:

When and where can I join sailies?

Sailies are hosted every evening. Usually it is 21:00 CET/CEST but exact info is posted on Discord server (click here to join) – #party-room channel.

Feel free to get your “Sailies” role (channel #roles) so you get ping whenever info appears.

We start from Velia wharf on channels specified in #party-room info.

What quests do I take from Velia wharf?

Starting from NPC Croix (Velia wharf manager):

Then go east towards the inn. Inside there are NPCs Proix and Miya.

Proix gives you:

And Miya gives you:

Make sure you pick Tinberra Island quest.

Then go back to Croix (wharf manager). Opposite of him stands Rovinia who gives you quest [Daily] Supplies Delivery (Tinberra Island). Make sure you pick the Tinberra Island quest.

You pick Rovinia’s quest right before sailies start because it’s a timed quest and you don’t want it to expire.

Heading out

Once we set sail, follow the route in the graphic and follow the captain’s instructions. Common etiquette is not to go AFK and not to jump or use skills while the boat is moving. Notify the captain immediately if you fall into water.

Enjoy the ride!
