The event, which was held on 10 December 2022 at 15:00 UTC-8 in Los Angeles, kicked off with a showcase of super-loud rock covers of in-game music in a departure from the usual orchestral tribute. After introductions ended, the event was presented – in Korean – by Pearl Abyss development staff, each line requiring subsequent interpretation into English, quickly prompting officers TheDoomLord and Yidingbai to call #drinkAloneTogether.

Announcements started to be announced twice at the same time, confirming some rumours circulating about the eventual release of Maeguwu to follow Uwuoosa later this week, much to the excitement of officers Kawali and PinkieQueen, who says “that would be nice!”

To the disappointment of TheDoomLord and Yidingbai, Pearl Abyss did not announce permabans for all players, ranked guild-versus-guild Yar 2.0, or 3-person submarine Elvia lifeskilling zones. Yidingbai says “scammed if you do, scammed if you don’t i guess”.

The most exciting announcement for guild sailors were changes to ocean and sailing, including a kinda badass-looking Epheria Dreadnought, available for limited time upon usage. “I wanna do epheria dreadnought sailies,” comments Yidingbai. This came as extra details emerged about the Land of the Morning Light region, which is beyond Port Ratt. Officer and guild sailor Kyraliss mentions the possibility of “sailies greensplits” as a result of this change.

The event closed with a Fortnite-dancing Shai, reaffirming the guild’s perception of Pearl Abyss’ priorities.
